| [Appearance] Duo is thin, but slightly muscular and is 156 cm tall (about 5'2") and weighs a mere 43 kg (about 94 pounds). His eyes are a cobalt bluish-violet color and his hair is the color of chestnuts which falls far past his shoulders in a long thick braid that reaches his waist easily. His outfit consists of black pants and a priest's black shirt with a white turtleneck underneath which looks like a clerical collar but goes a little above the shirt unlike a priest's collar. The sleeves of that turtleneck is rolled up over the black shirt. [Personality] To people who see him on the outside he seems like a happy-go-lucky, relaxed, laidback, and charming teen who seems to not have much of a care in the world. He also seems a bit of a jokester as well. But on the inside, he is a very deep person with a unhappy childhood. He has a lot of dark, sinister feelings that he doesn't allow others to see, and is quite good at doing so. When in a physical fight of some sort, he becomes a completely different person...a.k.a. he gets a little crazy, with wide grins and hollow, psychotic laughter (though not all the time). But for the most part he's a pretty easy guy to be around. |

[History/Background] Well, Duo knows nothing about his real family or his real name, as he is an orphan. When young, he was part of a street gang of orphans that had to steal to survive. After the gang-leader, Solo, died of a fever- he adopted the name "Duo" in memory of him. Before Solo died he had told Duo that he would always be with him and in response Duo said, "If Solo's with me, we'll be Duo." Later on, he and the gang were taken in by Maxwell church. The others were adopted but not Duo. None would keep him because he was too much of a troublemaker. This resulted in him being adopted by the priest and head nun, Father Maxwell and Sister Helen. He did not wear his hair in a braid originally but strongly refused to have his hair cut when Sister Helen tried because he simply liked his hair that way. So, Sister Helen braided it for him instead. When he spoke with Sister Helen and father Maxwell about religion he asserted that he did not believe in god. He did say, though, that he believed in the God of Death since he had not seen any miracles but he had seen a lot of dead people. One day, Duo came back to the church to find it in flames. Father Maxwell was dead and Sister Helen died in Duo's arms. This was when he took on the last name 'Maxwell'. Since this, he's been a bit of a wonderer, taking any jobs that were offered to get by in life, not mentioning this past to anyone. Not even once. |
